One Friary, Britannia Invest
Ekkist are currently supporting Britannia Invest in the creation of exceptional office space in Bristol, One Friary Temple Quay, targeting WELL Gold Certification.
Ekkist are currently supporting Britannia Invest in the creation of exceptional new workspaces at One Friary in the heart of Temple Quay, located directly opposite Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station.
The building will consist of ground and six upper floors providing 60,000 sq ft of office accommodation. The brief was to manage and complete WELL Certification for the site.
Our role has been to support the team in designing offices that support optimal human health, including targeting WELL Gold Certification.
As a result of targeting a high WELL score, the project aims to support human health across all ten WELL concepts, with a particular focus on enhanced air and water quality, encouraging movement and exercise, the provision of high quality natural and artificial light, and a health-led approach to building materials and operational policies.
